Captivity

My passion for wildlife extends deeply into the realm of mammals. While an African safari remains a dream on my bucket list, I currently fulfill my desire by visiting zoos. I exclusively visit zoos accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) to ensure that the animals are protected and treated with the utmost respect. Through my photography, I strive to capture these magnificent creatures in their natural essence, often making it hard to tell that the photos were taken in a zoo. Until my African adventure becomes a reality, I find immense joy in observing and learning about animal behavior, which takes me to many zoos across the United States.
